I plan on bringing my 30.06 (165 Noz) to a upcoming FHL pig hunt. I understand that the “shotgun only” areas on FHL have a lot more pigs. What do I need to do (conversion wise) to my Original Benelli SBE to shoot a slug out of it. I’m looking for an easy cheep fix here. Otherwise I’ll be humping the rifle. Thanks in advance.

Welcome Socal!!!!!! I have an Old Remington 1100. If it would work on that I would like to borrow it.
Heck, I'll even spray it down w/ the garden hose after I use it.

With a smooth bore all you need is to buy rifled slugs. That is what I did with my beretta it works great. Don't shoot rifled slugs in a rifled barrel it will not group. I have a box of 300 gr. ballistic tip SST slugs from hornady have not tested it yet. box says muzzle 2000 fps (50yds+2.5) (100yds+2.7) ( 150yds-0 ) ( 200 -6.7) looks impressive hope this helps good luck.
