I recently purchased this 6.5 Grendel upper and was told Competition Shooting Sports used it as a demo model. I installed a Timney TG, Magpul PRS stock, TPS rings, Lupy Scope and off to the range I went.Posted ImageI must say Im impressed. Here is 123 grain Lapua hp bullet. Looks like three, but it's four and yes I was afraid to shoot five.Posted ImageNo likey the 90 grain speer bullets. The holes circled are shot with em. The holes not circled are 6 rounds shot as fast as I could get back on target from a bench with 123 grain rounds. It opened up the group a bit :D Posted ImageI think 200 yard targets are next up.
Bullets are pretty worthless. All they do is hang around waiting to get loaded.

Very nice looking gun . Great group I see you like those targets to. I like them because you can see your hits at long range. Thats makes a nice varmint gun :D

Competition Shooting Sports and they no longer make that specific model which is called GDMR 16 (Grendel Designated Marksman Rifle).I did see one sell recently, unfired for $1050.
Bullets are pretty worthless. All they do is hang around waiting to get loaded.

Can you post a pic of a loaded 6.5 round sitting next to another common caliber?
