I'm looking for a fire resistant gun safe dealer here in Orange County. I've looked checked two stores here, Turner's in Orange and the Fowler Gun Room also in Orange anyone have any ideas to find a good deal?

I got mine from Sportsman Steel Safes. I believed they're in Long Beach. You can visit their showroom and they can build you what you want. Price is much lower when compared with other brand since you cut off the middleman. I can't find their number but you can call information. Goodluck.

I have 2 safes, an American Security & a Liberty. I really like the Liberty safes... Their quaility is outstanding. They are located in Utah & can call them to get a list of distributers closest to you. One good distributer is in Temecula. Good Luck in Your Search Frank

I'll give a thumbs up to Liberty Safes. Bought mine last year, fit and finish were excellent. I was orig. going for a Ft. Knox but there are no dealers near Sac so I hit the Labor Day Sale for the LS.

There's a direct Liberty dealer right here in Sacramento. They have a big sale twice a year, one is on President's day. My dad and I went there and He bought himself a Washington in Black Cherry - it is absolutely beautiful! He got it for around $2600! I wanted a Franklin real bad, but the wife would have flipped out if I bought one, since I just dropped a pretty penny on a new .223 setup.

My next safe they're going to have to build the house around. Or I'll do like bzzdr feedr did and buy an old bank building to use the vault. That guy is always one step ahead of me.

My wife already complains that my firearms take up too much room as it is! Haven't even set up my reloading equipment yet! Oh well, can always dream. Just a couple more years and few of these kids will be out of the house and I can use their rooms instead. Darren

Why don't you just do a vault door like this:

I already have several large safes the biggest a twin door model. But I keep them separated so that I don't lose everything at once.

Another place to get safes is looking at commercial equipment for sale ads. I bought a double door Diebold large filing safe (used) at a great price many years ago from a jewelry shop that was closing down.

Try Sturdy safe thay can be seen at sturdysafe.com I believe, the are out of Fresno and build a comercial safe at great prices. If that .com is incorrect try to goggle sturdy safes, it's worth the look.Matt
