Well just got back dang. First stand after calling for 20 minutes wioth Fox pro. A pack of yotes came BUSTING in of a 100 yds from right to left. The were sooo fast. Befor you know they were on a hill side oh I think 250yds. So I put my cross hairs on its shoulder.( Sighted in for 100 at Bayarea Elavation) (Hot load out of my 6x284,3,600FPS Hrnady 87gr V-Max) I fired the yote jumps up and ran like the speed of light. I was low by I bet by an inch.Dang it. So I shot at a couple of rocks on hillside. I was (Looking at impact on rocks) 4" low.So I adjusted scope. I never saw another dog the rest of the trip other than running across the road while driving.Fridfay it rained. Bad news about Fox Pro the remote works part time. That SUCK in a MAJPR way. Tried every thing new batteries. No way can you be 700YDS away. You got to be able to see it. I think I need to send it back.I'm a little upset with Fox Pro.

hand calls never need bats. the last time I missed it was standing only 50 yds out. ck my rifle and was dead on! join the club.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Most remotes are line of site and tested above the ground at waist level. Read some of snowcamoman's reports on the e-callers he's testing over on Predator Masters. If you do call FoxPro I'd ask questions rather than yell at them for something you may have done incorrectly. Maybe you should take that thing out to a park and try it out under varying circumstances before you blame the caller. You should be familiar with the call before you take it out.

I'll let you resolve the issue with FoxPro. But you should talk to them first before berating their calls in a public forum. You know you have to bring the remote to life every time you want to send a command correct? That means you have to watch the led screen on there and make sure it is ready to do something. It's not a one push remote, maybe that's why you say it's only working half of the time? You have to push a button once to bring the remote awake then while the screen is lit send a command to the caller. This is just a though but I've heard of people doing this that are unfamiliar with the remote and caller. I understand in the heat of the moment people get excited and forget the operation then say it didn't work.

Larry, Go buy one of those calls I donated to the club and try it. There's nothing more satisfying than calling up a predator yourself. I've used electronic calls myself and they work, no doubt about it, but, it sure isn't the same and it's just that much more dog poop to pack out in the field and a lot of extra movement setting it up. That is unless you use it right next to you. But nothing equals calling one up yourself....Walt

I agree with Walt. I'm guilty of having too much gear....electronic callers, aux speakers, decoys, the whole shmear. Most times I just like to grab my rifle, shooting sticks and a mouth call or two and my howler. Simple, reliable and no dicking around with a remote or other nonsense. Simple is better.

Yep, sometimes I just like to run them over with my pickup truck. I know, not sporting but I'm a good shot with my F-250!
