The word from a friend of mine is a 89 year old duck hunter accidently shot his hunting partner out in the blind last sunday at a Duck Club near Wasco, Ca. I saw the pics. yesterday of the scene and it wasn't pretty, very close range to the head. At this same gun club last year another death occurred in a single hunter accident.

When I started reading your post I immediatly thought of your elderly hunting partner and my heart skipped a beat. That is an awful thing to happen.

OMG I feel so bad for both of them.. THe guy killed of course had a family who are grieving, but to kill your buddy and KNOW you did it has to be just eating that other man up.. Such a horrible thing....

The elderly man is on a suicide watch, and yes it's very sad situation. Apparently the guy that was killed was trying to restrain his dog who was breaking before the shot and the shooter was swinging on a low teal.
