Anyone heard anything about this new round? From what I read in a magazine, it sounds pretty interesting.

I've never heard of it before, but it sure sounds wicked by it's name.

To much powder. It seems like a waste for just 4000+ FPS. I'd expect light speed at least.

It is a 50 grain 20 cal bullet though. 204's are only pushing 32 grains to 4000. All the 204's that are shooting 50 grain Berger's are only getting 3000-3300.

I understand that but I guess if I though I needed to shoot a 50gr. from a .20 caliber I'd just step up to a larger cartridge. I didn't mean anything negative but It just seems like a lot of powder.

Yes and again I ask you why?

it's these weird people that have nothing better to do than concoct weird new cartridges that try to defy the laws of firearm projectiles I guess.

What I got out of the article was that he's trying to make an ultra long range 20. He put a 8 1/2 twist pac-nor barrel on it and the 50 gr. 20 cal bullet has a much higher B.C. than the 22's. There is also mention of more really high B.C. 20 cal. bullets in the works. He says he was getting consistant 1" groups at 300 yds.
