New to me anyway lol. Just won the right to send a money order to a guy in Georgia. I found a 221 fireball, Rem. 700 classic on GunBrokers. Sent the FFL copy and a USPS money order this morning. Damn I can hardly wait lol. I bought a set of dies yesterday off E Bay. Merry Christmas you old goat, me, lol. Ed

A 221 fireball. I've always looked at that round with interest. Keep us posted on how it shoots. I may go out later this week to "manage" a few local squirrels. Photos, yes. Always good to treat yourself to a new toy.

Rod, lol Sakos are fine rifles, and so are Rugers, but I am into Remmys right now lol. As soon as I get enough Remingtons I plan to start on Rugers, then Sakos lol. Hey I am just doing it by the alphabet. A guy needs to have guide lines lol. Ed

Congrats on your new purchase, Ed. The 221 fireball is a great caliber. The .17 fireball is another great one, that I believe you already have.

Uh, why buy the rest, when you already own the Best (Remmy)? Oh wait, I shouldn't be saying that, should I?!

No Frank, I have a 17 rem., but the 17 fireball is on my list. I still have to get a 17 fireball, a 222 and a 243, but I need another 223 too lol. Oh and a Remington in 204 ruger so I can trade off my Salvage. Ed

I had the wrong .17 then... The Rem 17 is obviously a great one, but for some reason I really like the 17 fireball. Friends of mine have both calibers, in Remington rifles of course ( ) and I really love shooting them. The 221 Fireball you just bought is another favorite of mine which I've also shot. While I've owned the 204 & 243, I am just not much of a fan of those 2 (fine) calibers. But hey, is what makes the world go 'round, right?! lol

Geez, you're a bad influence on me, Ed, and I get myself in trouble just fine all by myself. (just kidding of course) lol
