Tag soup for this guy , hunted the opener to the following Sat. , found 7 Doe's , 3 Fawns and a Spike . Went back out after Thanksgiving dinner with my folks to a area I hunted 10 years ago . Same results , found 14 Doe's , 4 fawns and a big bodied Spike . Either someone else got lucky in these areas or once again that regal buck out foxed me . What drives me crazy is the last three seasons I have passed on smaller legal deer . This season I told myself if it's legal , take it . It's been a fun season , I always enjoy hiking this country and a did find a old Forky shed to add to my collection of finds from D12 . Now I can start to plan some Yote hunts after the New Year kicks in ...

D12? Your in Temecula why not hunt D16?
I tagged out on day 2 with a forkie. I love hunting but i like to get the job done as soon as i can move on to other things.
I am a big believer in taking legals and not waiting for trophies.
How is the hunting out there anyway?

Lived in SD County my entire life before moving to Temecula , hunted D16 and A22 for many moons . Still hunt it every couple years when I get the itch . Not a trophy hunter here , I just believe in letting them get a little older before taking them . As for the hunting , I preffer it over most general zones .
