So John, when calling is slow you just shoot a cow and hunt it the next day? Damn man, your neighbors must love you.

Good job on the 6, knock the horns off that bull and send them wy way, I'll make you another call.

One of them had a real nice pelt had no time to skin it.Bull is an angus no horns Ron. I wished i could have stayed longer they were coming from a refuge over to this cattlemens pasture bloated bull smelled good to them and I was having a good time picking them off 50 to 80 yards.

:good: Cheater. Im surprised you loaded your rifle. Thats almost like duck hunting just sitting there letting them come in.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

when I took this picture 4 are down, killed the butt eater first every 15 to 20 minutes the others showed up one at a time. When I walked up I didn't want to shoot the ones running off and scare them if i missed my plan worked .I was 50 yards to the left of that tree back against the fence pole.I only had 5 shells with me to what a time not to have my jacket pockets full :doh[1]:

I was walking back to my truck and I see another coming in I take a knee put down the stix and he comes right up to me lip squeaked nailed him 50 yards he is hard to see on the left side of the road.I was on my last shell to lol.#5

after I dropped them off I walk back for one last time set up and here comes another. This one was nervous my truck was in sight but it could not resist that dead bull I shot it aimed at the shoulder had a good cross wind to.The dog did the tail spin bit at the rear leg took of like lightening.I thought I hit it in the rear leg come to find out I made a good shot when right in the ditch and died #6.Then I had to haul ass home to go to the in-laws...... :014:

I need a dead bull.

Ok, maybe not. Maybe just something that smells like a dead bull and weighs about 1/100th of a dead bull...

Looks like a very efficient use of ammo resources :-)

So far, I cannot tell the difference. However, I have not killed that many with the 40 gr bullet, but not sure how many I need to either??

All I know is, on the several coyotes I have killed with the 40 grainers, they all died every bit as fast as with the 50. For me, the 55 gr killed no better either. A good hit is gonna produce good results no matter the bullet size... at least from a 223 or 22-250.

My :two-cents:
