Just got into archery. Picked up a pse stinger 3g. I want to start hunting upland birds like turkey, quail, or anything edible. I live in fremont and totally dont know where to begin. I think I might have to take a hunters safety course first. but dont know where. Any help would really be appreciated. Btw. I also have a crossbow and would like to use that during he general season too.
TOTALLY A NEWBIE

If you don't have your lisense you must obtain that first. To do this go to the dfg website and look to see when the next hunter safety course is in your area. After the course you can buy your lisense. You can also take an online course and follow that up with a 4 hour course/test then purchase your lisense. The DFG website is the best place to get started.

Welcome. Also looking forward to your post. That is a good bow even if it has wheels.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.
