I ordered one of these. I had been looking for a perfect portable shooting system that can be used for both extreme long range shooting and hunting as well. I think I found it.

Yup, you can pretty much mount anything on it and at 3.5 lbs, you can carry it on your back pack. I ordered a couple of Picatinny attachment for 6 of my rifles so that I don't need to keep moving things around. I hope it's strong enough to handle the recoil of my 338 Lapua.

Yes, I tried it yesterday at the range shooting at 100 meters with my 338 Lapua Ackley. I tried both shooting prone and seating position. No change in impact whatsoever. The tripod is versatile enough to used for long range shooting and hunting but not for fast action predator hunting, although with practice you might be able to use it.
