Going down tomorrow to start the paperwork! It's gently used, and the best part is it's chrome plated!!! I'll post some pics next week when I pick it up. Just need to get some pearl grips and a holster.

More info is needed. Caliber, length of barrel, what model? You are going to be a happy man. Vaquero's are nice handguns. Great fun to shoot.

It's a 357 Mag, chrome plated, can't remember but I think it's the 4 1/2" barrel. It belonged to a friend of mine who recently passed away. :( The paperwork just cleared to put it in the wife's name, so we're going to private party transfer it.

I'm not much of a revolver Guy, but have always wanted a Peacemaker and an 1861 Navy. I'm really excited to get this as it will "stay in the family", & it will be well loved and taken care of. Gary was a great dude, I was really sad that he lost his fight with cancer. We'd go shoot when he felt well enough, and when I wasn't hurting.

I'll snap a pic tomorrow to post. I am going to change the grips to pearl as I've always loved the gaudy cowboy guns that were nickel plated with fancy grips. A decent holster is in order too as I plan on taking this pistola with me on future trips outdoors.

Any suggestions on crossdraw holsters? It needs to be for a southpaw, as I can't shoot my pistols right handed.

Finally got the paperwork filled out, I pick her up on the 27th! 4 1/2" barrel and woo grips. I'm going with my friend Shannon to the range when I get it so we can shoot our matching pistols.

I ordered the pearl grips for it last night, along with a holster. The parts should be here Monday or Tuesday, so I'll be able to try it out before I have my operation on Wednesday. I'll post pics when I get the stuff.

LOL...Yeah, Chuck, I would, but I think Santa already (over)-spent my quota this year on my new AR (that I picked up last Thursday).

Grips came, and I think it looks PERFECT now! Looked nice before, but to me you can't have a shiny gun with plain grips. Still haven't had a chance to shoot it! :( I got busy, and then had my right wrist fused. Home now, but am in NO shape to go shoot.
