I'm not much of a revolver Guy, but have always wanted a Peacemaker and an 1861 Navy. I'm really excited to get this as it will "stay in the family", & it will be well loved and taken care of. Gary was a great dude, I was really sad that he lost his fight with cancer. We'd go shoot when he felt well enough, and when I wasn't hurting.
I'll snap a pic tomorrow to post. I am going to change the grips to pearl as I've always loved the gaudy cowboy guns that were nickel plated with fancy grips. A decent holster is in order too as I plan on taking this pistola with me on future trips outdoors.
Any suggestions on crossdraw holsters? It needs to be for a southpaw, as I can't shoot my pistols right handed.

Well Frank, I think I know what you can ask Santa for for Xmas... As long as you've been a good boy that is.
LOL...Yeah, Chuck, I would, but I think Santa already (over)-spent my quota this year on my new AR (that I picked up last Thursday).
