My unsolicited advice? Get at least TWO decoys. Making them look like they're about to fight really seems to bring them in....I stand them angled towards each other about 3 yards apart. Just make sure they are also facing AWAY from where the crows will approach, because crows are smart and if they see the decoys are facing them they wonder why they don't react at all.
With my air rifle, I wait for them to land, and blast them. It's really fun, but shotgun is even better. Wash, Rinse, Repeat. They will come in a few times before they realize that a few are getting shot each time. Then, I'll wait to give them some rest, and do it again.
Forgot to mention the call. Cheap big 5 wood call works good. My e-caller doesn't work so well, but that's just because I don't have good sounds for crows on it.
