Had a great first of the year coyote hunt. Made 8 stands called in 6 killed 4 and 1/2. the 1/2 came when i called a pair in, shot the first one right in the chest using my 12 guage loaded with Remington HD. with the second one standing right behind it. After looking for about 10 min. one of them is on the side of the hill at about 50 yds. watching me look for his buddy and here i am holding my Benelli. Never found it. Only could skin one the rest were pretty well blown up. I was shooting a 22-250 with 50 grain Noslers.

Sounds like fun times! Cangratulations! Yeah Yateswell said it best, "4.5 out of 6 is very high sucess rate".
Now, don't try to get away! I am more muscular, more cunning, faster, and larger than you are, and I am a genius. Why you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten.

Very nice, and Congrats on a great hunt...

The 50 gr Nosler from a 250 is one deadly load on coyotes for sure.

Keep up the good work :good:

Way to go. :good:
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

I am still confused. How do you kill a half of a coyote? Which half did you kill? But it sounds like you had a good day congrads, Ed

In my own little world, shot that s.o.b. right in the chest at 40 yards its dead just couldn't find it.
