This morning I woke up at 4:30 and was out at Spencerville 2 hours before sun up. Long story short, no dog :-(,life goes on I enjoyed my morning in the woods watching the masses driving up and down the road trying to fill their deer tags. At least I met someone else who was after yotes and got to chat a bit.

Spenceville is a great looking place but over hunted to death. It used to be a wonderful area but as hunting land shrinks the numbers of hunters there just goes up and up. It's the horseback and hikers I dislike the most. Got tired of them giving hunters grief.

That's exactly the problem I saw, I got up and started to walk in the direction I wanted to reset at and I start hearing a hand call just on the other side of the hill. Rather than bust his set I got back in the truck and drove to where the other fella had parked and waited a bit to see if he would pop out. He did and no success on his end either. Still good to know I was setup less than 500 ish yards from someone who had some experience. Tells me I wasnt that far off the mark from what I should look for in a set.
