My six-year-old and I hit Lake Casitas for some evening fishing. My son caught his first largemouth bass on nightcrawlers. At 5.3 lbs. (22") his bass out weighs my PB by a good 3 lbs.

Nice! Your son might as well learn early. That scale had old dead batteries in it. That bass was actually 10 pounds.
