It's been a long time coming but I took both boys to the club at the same time and shot a few ducks but had a really good time. After learning the fine art of skipping flat rocks on a pond we went out together for a really nice dinner. We went to bed early but nobody slept so we stayed up reading outdoor magazines and telling stories. It was a great time for sure. The little one has showed very little interest until the last month or two the older one has deer, dove, pig and varmint hunted with me since he was five, and shooting his own since he was nine. When we got home the little one got on Cabela's web site and ordered new duck calls and a lanyard as well as a how to call DVD. Apparently dad's calling caused him to want to buy a DVD. :o Here are some pics.Attached File  Chris_and_Vince_1st_Duck_Club_Trip_005.jpg   39K   109 downloadsAttached File  Chris_and_Vince_1st_Duck_Club_Trip_008.jpg   52.02K   112 downloadsAttached File  Chris_and_Vince_1st_Duck_Club_Trip_010.jpg   60.38K   127 downloadsAttached File  Chris_and_Vince_1st_Duck_Club_Trip_011.jpg   70.4K   117 downloadsAttached File  Chris_and_Vince_1st_Duck_Club_Trip_012.jpg   74.2K   114 downloads

That's great Mike they sure look like they had fun. We know about your calling that's why you use a FoxPro for furry critters. :o

Way to go .
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Mine are around the same age. The daughter seems to enjoy it more than my son. It's enjoyable to have family hunting partners.db
