I have read, and looked at the regs. The bag limit is 5 Bobcats per season. However is there a daily bag limit? I cant find the answer if there is. I have never hunted Bobcats but have called some in. I might try it this year. Anyone know if there is a Daily limit?

Yep, five for a day, or the season. I've already picked up my seventeen feet of tags. And of course, Alyssa wants her own set as well.

Well, good luck to you Guys ! Thanks for the info. I highly doubt that I could fill 5 tags in a season let alone a day, But I wanted clarification so as not to get in hot water.

We've been watching one come into one of our properties just about every time we've been out deer hunting. My best friend hasn't shot one yet, so it's his as soon as the season opens. Looks like a nice Tom.

Bobcat tags are now sold individually for $3.19 each. Hunters may purchase up to 5 bobcat tags per license year.

Steph, bobcats are easy to skin, have a beautiful hide, and don't stink nearly as bad as a coyote. So by all means if you get one skin it out. They are thin skinned, so take your time, and you'll have a nice pelt when your done.

Most of us don't have a trappers license, but with one there is no limit on bobcats during trapping season. Does that mean a trapper can shoot an unlimited number of bobcat during trapping season? Or do they have to be trapped?

I was pretty happy about this. I only bought two, so now I can waste $6.50 this year, instead of 15 or 16 bucks.

I'm really looking forward to bobcat season. I saw some last year, and have a pretty good idea of where I'm going to hunt them...and the good thing is it's actually one of the closest spots from my house to hunt coyotes and bobcats. Hope I get my first bobcat this year! I'm optimistic....bought just one tag!

I even have some calls that don't work worth a crap on coyotes (for me at least), but are supposed to be good on bobcats....verminator tweety!

Steph - We saw a nice bobcat up on Sterling Ridge in D3 about 1/2 mile south of Sterling lake and the Boy Scout Camp when we were deer hunting last Thursday. Need some weather to get the deer moving up there though.

A trapper can shoot as many as they want. The season is short though. I hope to hit them hard this year no tags for me.
