I went out hunting the other night and since my lousy knee is bummed up (gotta have a total replacement) I have reserved myself to the road hunting method. I am not all that in favor of road hunting but hey, at least I'm out there. My daughter Ashley and I drove down through an area littered with bear tracks but none over the top of the grip of vehicle tracks. Ashley and I drove slowly past the area stopping occasionally to glass the open spots and look for sign. After about 20 minutes we turned around and slowly headed back out as it light was starting to fade. Well, when we got to the area where all the bear tracks were there looked to be four sets on top of my Mighty Mite tracks. One was nearly 6" wide! The others were smaller but two were respectable. ARG!!! I got a plan for this spot so "bear" with me!
Now, don't try to get away! I am more muscular, more cunning, faster, and larger than you are, and I am a genius. Why you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten.

Hey, I fully understand. when your legs are bummed up and you still want to hunt. you do what you have to do. I road hunt too. Can't walk worth a damn anymore. I too need a knee replacement. Got a squirrel the other night road hunting. He ran across in front of me and I got out and watched him climb a tree. He made a big mistake and stopped climbing while in full few of my nice little Henry 22mag. He came home with me in my ice chest.
