The openner in Yuma did not disappoint. Our group shot over a turned cantalope field that had plenty of rotten melons. We all limited on whitewings in a couple hours. Later that day, I shot nearly a flat at Eurasians.

That evening, we had marinated dove tacos.

The other people we talked to seemed to report great shoots as well.

Life is too short to hunt with an ugly dog or gun

Maintain a balance of nature, use a beautiful gun when shooting a beautiful bird

Sounds fun. I kinda miss doing the opener down by the river, it's been a lot of years since I've been there. Usually lots and lots of birds...also whitewings, which I havent shot since those river days.
