I was cleaning up my M&P after a session at the range and noticed something that i have not before. Directly below the firing pin opening is a half tear shaped marking. I think it maybe it is pitting and was just wondering if this is a concern for its functionality or safety? The rest of the breech face is fine and it looks more deliberate then random but I am not sure.
