As stated. I'll be in that mix for the opener. Sure its crowded in certain spots, but Blythe is a big place. Im sure we can all fit. ;) I'll be down there friday morning calling coyotes in the AM and scouting the rest of the day. Gotta atleast call a bit for some song dogs.

Anyone else gonna be out that way? Maybe meet up for a hunt and maybe grill out on the river during the day between the morning and afternoon hunt. Lemme know.

I used to go there for the opener; however, they moved my deer archery opener to that day.

Good luck and be careful. Take your hard hats & bullet proof vests :smiley-outta-here:
Did it once, that was enough. Lots of birds for sure, but just could not get to used to shooting so close to people around me. If you ran out of shells, all you had to do was reach over (without moving) and grab some out of the guys pouch next to you! Too close!

I may swing thru Blythe on the way back from Yuma, just to see some friends that have a place on the river. They'll be shooting dove for sure.
It's not about how many, it's about how.
Life is too short to hunt with an ugly dog or gun

Maintain a balance of nature, use a beautiful gun when shooting a beautiful bird

Birds have all scattered. Too bad.
Looks like everyone should just stay home and watch some preseason NFL instead

Western Birds said that the thunderstorms had been hitting Blythe hard and had driven off most of the birds. I guess they went to Yuma, because I saw a lot down there. Whitewings and Eurasians were thick.
