Looks like the openner will be 106F in Yuma.
I called the Quechan hunting licensing office and they'll be open Friday night til 8:00 pm. They open again at 3:00 am on Saturday.
Looks like it should be a great openner with mild (for Yuma) temps. First time I'm going to Yuma on the openner in 30 yrs. I hope where I'm hunting is not as crowded as the last time I hunted the openner in this area.

It's not about how many, it's about how.
Life is too short to hunt with an ugly dog or gun
Maintain a balance of nature, use a beautiful gun when shooting a beautiful bird

Cold snap is forcast for Yuma. 104 for the openner.
I'm going to try to get down to the Quechan license office midday today and avoid the crowds later today and tomorrow morning.

Im sure it will be more crowded than normal with the Saturday opener , but the shooting will be hot for sure . We go to Yuma for the opener every year and never failed to have a great time . We will be leaving around 2 AM and staying for a few days . Hopefully there will be some Eurasians flying around to add to the bag .
Also dont foreget to check out Spragues Big Breast Contest .
Have fun , I cant wait to get on the road !
