I am tired of Grant talking trash about Remingtons,
So I had to take the Remington 700 - .243 Cal off his hands today.
We went out to his place this morning an did some shooting.
After shooting the Remington, I almost threw my Howa in the ditch.
So we went down to the gun shop to lock up my new Remington for 10 days.
I am very happy with the new gun.
And Grant did me right, so we will forgive him for talking trash.
Not to mention, He bought me a really cool t shirt. It says "You can't fix stupid, even with duct tape".

Frank and ed,
I have several Remingtons, and a Rem 700 in 7mm mag that I just gave to one of my grandsons.
So I am also a remington fan.
The one I just got from grant is a good shooter, but I still need to find out what type of load it likes best.
And the shooter needs more practice.
And, yes Grant, I am a very happy camper.

Grant that's one of the pluses of having Remmy's, they produce more brain power, there by enlarging the head, which is good for the Stetson company. They sell more hats, and put more people to work. So in short of it Remmy's are good for the economy. How ya like my reasoning lol. Ed

I Like the "put more people to work line" After all of the stuff ya have to buy to get the rifle to shoot well, A Guy has really stimulated the economy! :rofl2: :pot:

I've got one 700 that I stole from pops the other year. I must admit to loving the way it shoots. And I have two Stetsons. One is the hat, and the other is the frame for my glasses. Gotta match ya know B)

Today at 1:00 pm My new remington is coming home from a ten day lockdown.
I plan to take her to the range tomorrow, and put a few holes in some paper.
I have several different loads to try out, and a couple hundred pieces of brass primed
and ready to load, when I find her favorite flavor.

She made it home today.
I wanted to run over to Concord, to the rifle range today,
but I didn't want to fight the commute
traffic on the way home, so I will wait.
