D7 will be open this weekend for archery and that's where I'm headed. I'm going up high, about 7500 feet to be exact. I haven't had time to scout at all so I'm going in blind. Well not totally, because I know the area holds bucks. It's an area I've been hunting a few years now and always hear of other people having success in the area. Hopefully, it'll be me this time. I had a nice shot on a buck on last year's opening archery weekend but misjudge the distance because I did not have a range finder. I won't let the same mistake happen again if I should see one on Saturday.
It's going to be a hot one, over 100, I believe, so be sure to keep yourself hydrated! Good luck everyone.

D6. Its also opening for archery quail, grouse, treesquirrel and chucker. And my official start up of coyotes.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

TD, if you take chukar with a bow, please don't post it. I will be forced to curl up in the fetal position and
I tried it once with a bow for chukar but all I ended up with was a $110 price tag. $60 dollars worth of broken arrows and another $50 worth of whiskey to ease the frustration of the $60 worth of broken arrows
