Harvested some more last nite I have about 7 times this amount ready to can going to start it tonite. Going to be a mix of Burning bush (a member of the habanero family they are peach colored) Hot lemons (yellow colors real popular in south america) Red and green Jalapenos and red and green serranos and red and green fresnos. I will same some peppers out to use in my gardinia hot veggie mix I am going to can tonite also.
In a week or two I will be doing my tobasco peppers into a home made hot sauce.

Those look good Merle! That hot veggie mix sounds good too. You have some real good color on those peppers. :good:

I just got done canning them I managed a total of 17 pints of peppers and 3 quarts of peppers. I managed to get 6 pints of the hot mix veggies and 2 quarts. I dont always like my stuff in quarts takes to long to eat up. I will post some pics of the finished product tomorrow after its all cooled down.

I just did one jalapeno plant and one bell pepper plant this year besides the regular veggies.

I do lots of peppers I eat the dog snot out of them lol. This year I planted 7 pablano plants 6 burning bush 6 hot lemons 6 tobasco 15 jalapeno seranos and fresno plants. Next year I will not plant any bell peppers or poblanos. Have 26 tomato plants. have zuchinni butternut squash egg plant list goes on lol.

Where do you get your plants? Some of those sound very interesting

I have 38 pepper plants well 37 now I lost one Santa fe they sure are taking their sweet time this year. Bell peppers just satrted coming on good last week. Wax peppers should start really producing now. And it looks like late September for ripe habaneros

I just need more time to put all this stuff up. Round two of the plums are coming on now so I need more jam

It's that picking time of year isn't guys? We made spaghetti sauce last week because all of the sauce tomatoes are coming in now. We canned 10 quarts and several pints of sauce. Not sure why we can quarts because it really is to much for use at one time. But the leftover keeps in the fridge for the next spaghetti day. I guess we use the quarts is because we have quart jars. :lol:

Here are a couple of jars of the hot mixed and of the assorted peppers.

I get my plants local and some from burpee seeds.
