Made it out at least once! Not hugely succesful, but succesful - both girls caught a fish our first night.

Yeah - brookies. They stock it regularly. Why I wanted to go there even though it is a bit hot during the day - plenty to catch. At this age you just got to get them hooking something fast before teh attention disappears. ALthough teh eldest was getting into it, particularly when she almost got in a nice big rainbow and it spit teh hook right as she was getting it up out of teh water.

More amazingly - all three of us survived camping 4 days sans mom!

Great job getting the kids on some fish. I am going to do the same thing in a couple of days. Bring them home and send them to school the next day. Boy this summer went fast.

Good job getting the girls out for a fun trip. The girls smiles are such a reward that the fish are just a bonus (and dinner).
