Yesterday evening at about 7:30 I went out to feed my dogs, I looked across the highway and saw 11 bucks at about 175 yds. I walked out to my samuria and got my glasses out of the glove box. Of the 11 there were 3 shooters, 25 to 27 inch. I watched them go up and over the rim. Lol I think I found my son and grandson there bucks. It is private ground up to and just over the rim, forest service behind it. I know the country and am pretty sure they will stay in the general area unless they are spooked. They have feed and water and the rut dosen't start up here till usually after the season, so no reason to leave. I can hunt the private ground also which helps, of course I won't be hunting I don't have a tag lol.I will merely be directing lol. God I love this area, wish I had moved up here when I was a young man. Ed

Hope your grandsons do well! There is some nice bucks running around all over this year. I have not found any real big ones yet this year, but have seen several nice ones. I am going to be a few miles West of you in the next few days on a fishing trip. I am always looking for deer. LOL These pictures were taken South of you this year.

Ed, I am thinking that maybe this year, instead of camping near Cedar Pass, Might head further North, Where would you recommend south of Davis Creek? Thanks, Ernie.
