Went on a scout this evening, was more like a drive in my new to me Samuria. Made a big loop up the mountain behind the little town of Davis Creek, one store lol. My son and grandson drew tags in this area. I saw some does and also saw some big tracks with the dew claws hitting. Bucks are running together yet. Lol there are 3 across they highway in an old apple orchard every night. One is a shooter, 4 point probably 26 inch. but they won't be there come deer season. Lol I am on a mission, going to get my grandson a buck. He drew a apprentice tag last year, either sex and got a nice doe, but his dad and I decided it was time he had a rack to nail up on the wall. actually if it was legal a fella could get a damn nice buck in the city limits of Alturas. Hey Rusty I love it lol. I ain't had this much fun in a long time. I can see right now I won't be buying any new rifles for a while lol. All my extra money will be going to buy goodies for my new toy. Ed
