Hey, that's a gorgeous pic!! Great looking birds, and it's terrific to see a youngster in the field.. Where were these birds taken?

Good shootin' and nice birds! I remember going on some junior pheasant hunts with my old man, some of the best memories I have of hunting with him...

Thats super nice job.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

My kids are grown but my daughters still go ground squirrel shooting with me. I'm just waiting for the 5 year old grand daughter to get a little older.

Kids and hunting. The future of our sport. My 12 year old daughter's first pheasant hunt. 3 birds taken with her Rem. 870 20 gauge.

That's awesome! I have a 13yr old who is the son dad never had...has been pig hunting, deer hunting and pheasant, but only as a watcher. Bought her a .20 gauge this year - missed a Hunter Safety course - but prepping her spring turkey hunting. Usually head-up by Clear Lake on some private property. Been successful the last 3yrs there. In fact my 16yr old niece got a nice tom there in '05 (10" beard). It's great when the kids get involved - 'specially nice to see daughter's nieces spending time in the field with their fathers/uncles...Attached File  t1.jpg   31.48K   17 downloads
