I just bought a hunting app and it says Iyoi can use rifle and shotgun for upland . Is this true? I thought you can only use shotgun for rabbit

"(f) Air rifles firing pellets and powered by compressed air or gas; and firearm rifles and pistols for taking rabbits and squirrels, except in Los Angeles County, in addition to the methods listed in (a), (

But those suckers seem to know how far is outta range for rimfire. From now on I'm lugging my .223. That has plenty of range.

If you started practicing 100 yd shots with your .22 youd be suprised how effective they can be,

You use a rifle for upland, and you will get cited!!! Upland refers to upland game birds. Rabbits are classified as small game. You may use a rifle for small game, except for L.A. County as stated previously by T2T, but not for upland game (birds).
