Well, she did 20 half pints of jam today. some Blackberry, some mixed fruit, rasberry, strawberry and balckberry and a few peach. Damn, is my weight loss program going out th ewindow.

In case anyone is interested noticed in the Target as yesterday that the Ball Jam and Jelly Maker was on sale for $79. That's a good savings over the best on line price, even considering free shipping and no sales tax.

Yeah, my wife noticed them on sale and now we own two Ball Jam & Jelly makers. But if you want one at that price you better hurry or get a rain check. Because she had to got to two stores to get the second one they sold out fast.

I say that because I told my GF about the deal & she swang by there on the way home & they were $99.99 from $109.99 . Guess the folks in Nor Cal get a better deal on it than us " down yander " .

We will see what happens when she takes in the printed ad . Granted its from Nor Cal .

Yep thats what I said . Walmart said , they would have to have it " in stock " at the store to match that price before the ad ended . .

And when she took it back to Target , with the Redding Target ad in hand , the woman keep stating that the " ad " was an internet ad and they do not match the store price to the " internet "price . I even called and just asked " why is it $30.00 cheaper in Northern Calif than it is in Southern Calif .
" I'm sorry . I do not / did not know this . " I had to hang up . being in India she did not understand my question .

Andy I'm dealing with a foreign country over a warranty repair of a refrigerator at the moment. The refrigerator has been inoperable for 18 days now and the first compressor they tried was the wrong one. They ordered another compressor and even after a three hour phone call the tech got sent the wrong compressor again. When I said you don't know what it's like not having a refrigerator to the girl on the phone from the warranty company. I said it's not like your washer is broken or your range is not working. But I forgot she probably doesn't have a refrigerator and washes her clothes on a rock at the river and cooks over a fire. So gave up taking to warranty and I finally got hold of Home Depot corporate office yesterday. They're replacing my refrigerator finally! Or at least they're allowing me to pick a new one. They said I can even keep the old one that is only 5 years old and I said thanks but no thanks!

We ended up getting 1 . Only 89.99 , free shipping . i know the 1st weekend after it shows up that my GF will be trying the heck out of that thing .

Well it showed up . BUUUTT why is there a sticker on top of the box that says " contains Graphite Black Stirrer " .

IS there a problem with the Graphite stirrer ?

Just because of the placement of the stirrer in he box, I bleieve they are getting tossed out by mistake, so the warning is to let you know it is there. Just my guess. I saw the warning too, and that was my conclusion.

WEll, John, you started something with this post. I told you when I talked to about it, that I was getting one for my wife, since she just loves to make jam. Well, she liked it so much she made over 100 jars of jam. Strawberry, blackberry, apricot, peach, one called pinio coloda, made with pineapple, and a cinamon apple, made with those red hots, candy, adn apple. Really good too. She was so excited about the new toy she made a post, complete with pictues on her Facebook page. As a result, five more were sold. Thanks for he posting John, it has really turned out great wheer my wife is concerned.

Glad to here it worked out as something your wife likes. We have two of them now and I stopped counting after 12 dozen jars of more different varieties of jam than I can remember. As long as the wives are happy right?

You got it john. ONce again thanks. For my wife. However, I dont' know how well I like it. It's playing havoc with my abliity to loose weight. Stuff is just too darned good on toast and biscuts.
