7 rounds each
27, 26.5 and 26 grains @ 2.235 OAL

I also measured my factory rounds, they were .029" difference between the shortest and longest. Kinda shocked me there wad such a big gap.

Dumb question: What powder?
Most of the time when people list a load, they list:
1.) Cartridge (I'm assuming a 223/5.56 due to the 1.75" case length)
2.) Bullet
3.) Case
4.) Primer
5.) Powder
Then they list powder weights and OAL

Powder is Varget, .223 winchester brass with 20% waste right out of the bag! Won't use those again!
And for more clarity, I'll use my .17hmr on the CT's, the new loads, whichever works best will be my coyote killers.
It is definatly a blast! I'm excited to shoot these loads, especially after seeing the huge variance with the factory loads.

We have real good luck with Varget (26.5gr off the eop of my head I believe) and the same bullet. Good luck.

I had the great fortune of inheriting my grandfathers bench press dies and stuff but still lacked a few items after reading a bunch (like a case trimmer).
Im excited to produce my own rounds just because I like building things myself over buying stuff.

Been super busy lately sorry for the delay! ! I ended up getting out last Sunday and did my test rounds. I forgot my phone at home so no pics sorry! So after shooting the rounds this is what I came up with. The best load so far was 26.5 grains of Varget at 2.250 OAL. It shot within a nickle at 100yards off my shooting sticks while leaning against a tree. So I'm pretty darn happy with that. The worst was 27 grains at 2.235 OAL, barely touching the outside of a quarter. I didn't have a chrono so I don't now how fast anything was traveling. I'm happy but very curious with the 26" barrel how fast those guys were flying.
That was all done by 630am so I headed out for a few stands, saw three dogs but no shots.
