I hunt quail in this zone and love it,but it will be my first time being serious for deer. Where should I start my scouting? Do you guys think I should look up high in elevation or stick to the desert with water sources? Help me out since I really dont hunt big country bucks,I only hunt D15 which is easy since I can drive up there every day after work to scout. and really only have a few trails I stick to. I usally get my buddy a shot every year from my scouting and he gets one every two years there so its not a bad zone i just want to hunt something different. thanks in adavance.
