I thought Id offer it here first, before putting on GB. Ill let it go a week or so before moving it.
So heres what I have, A light conture H&R Topper 158 in 30-30. the current guns are much heavier. this one was made in 1975, and has been well loved and well treated. The case colors are still brite and the blueing is mostly there. This gun is tapped for a scope rail but to my knolage it never had one installed. It is pre transfer bar and has the lower hammer profile that allows lower scope mounting. The wood has been refinished and the fore end has been replaced. the replacement came with a sling stud but I never put one on the butt. For a 37 year old well loved gun itd still in good shape. This one was always accurate, Ive used it alot as a barn and truck gun. Im asking $300 but would accept a good offer or trade. I have a few 30-30s and this one is just not being used any more. DR
