I got a sample bag from a sierra arms in Modesto and reloaded a few cast boolits from bear creek I would have just bought a few pounds of it if they had it.They are 240 gr I did a few in 8 gr 9 and 10 of unigue hornady manuel says 10.9 is max. I just need to drag my butt to the range and shoot them..

That sure is a big ole flat point, should leave quite a hole . Out of curiosity, is that a reflection on the bag, or do some of them have a gas check and others not?
No they are all cast it must be the light.I hope these work out good because I can just drive to the guys house and buy it from him 500 bullets for 40.00 .
My goal is to shoot a coyote with the 44 pistol that would be a big achievement for me.

Thats kind of what I figured, it was the light, just curious. They should be just fine. I love hard cast lead. I had a chance to take my buddy's and my first dog ever with the .44, it was only 25 yards away but I paused for half a second to look at him first only to see him drop the hammer with the .223 . Live and learn I suppose. Good luck, let us know how they shoot. Good price too!
