Have been trying to get this monster for about a week now. Very sneaky and fast as lightning! Well this morning was my day. Looking out the sliding glass before work I see him sneak out and head for the bird feeder, luckily my .22cal RWS panther was next to the front door and Predator Poly Mags on the counter. For a min I though about grabbing the .17 HMR but time was of the essence! Slide open the door just enough to clear the barrel, gently take aim trying to steady my heart rate and breathing, and let the 16GR pellet fly THWAP!!!!!!! A couple kicks of the legs and it was all over. This guy is going to make a great shoulder mount! Shot was a staggering 10yards with open sights.Attached File  photo.JPG   88.23KB   6 downloads

You should have seen the chompers on that beast. Easy 3-5 CM total length, and his G2's were the stuff dreams are made of.-jb

Boy you sure did a number on the meat though. Maybe a little too much gun for this size of game.

I read your story twice and nowhere can I find the weight of this brute! Not only that, the proud hunter and his gun are missing from the trophy photo. I smell a rat!

hahahahah, I am guessing the weight to be around 2-3oz including the 16gr of lead that he ingested. I was going to add the rifle for the pic but I was in a hurry trying to leave for work. Next time indeed.-jb
