I got to hunt yesterday out of coalinga with my new membership to wilderness unlimited, it was a last min. trip out there but I got it done. I left my house saturday morning a 2 am drove 5 hours to get there and hunt all day. At first I was a bit nervous since I didnt feel right( i felt out of place on a rach thats 5,000 acres lol. Well after a really long day and chats with a few members I put one down at about 1:58 pm, he gobbled while he sprinted towards the gun. He was a small bird at about 16lbs thick 8 in beard and 1/2 in spurs.

HAHA I know Frank I was a bit upset to find myself with a gobbler down and no camera lol. I've been getting crap from everyone I know . But yes I was every happy with the hunt and property I was on. It was really Dry but full of game. I couldnt believe the amount of pig sign on the ranch.Another member said he saw about 12 of them at dark 30 cross the road into the ranch I was on.The crazy thing is that I drove for about 4 miles along the Highway and the whole right side was mine for the pickings lol. It was great, the left side is also WU land. Im really happy being a member.

Wow, you got everything in the pic, including the bathroom sink :rofl2:I just saw this, glad the WU membership worked out for you. Like it was explained to me when my brother had his membership, if you have the time it is great. You obviously made the time, and glad to hear it worked out for you. Keep it up, and keep us posted. And by the way, better to have been out hunting and take a small bird than to have been at home and buying one from the grocery store. Be proud :signlol2iu: .
