I went out over this weekend to Laguna Mountain, about 70 miles south of Hollister and the drive alone was worth it. It was just awesome to drive through the country like that and pulled over many times for photo opportunities. In regards to the hunting experience, I first went to Laguna Mountain for a while and it was just too filled with brush to be comfortable. I was also confused with what was BLM and what was private land. I need to head out to the local BLM office to get more info and maps. I wonder if I can upload the BLM properties into my GPS, that would be way awesome! After a couple of hours in the 90+ degree weather, I headed out to Condon Peak just to check it out before I called it a day. It seems like Condon Peak has a lot more open BLM land and I am definitely heading out there within the next week or so.Anyone else have any good experiences at either of these places?

I have hunted condon peek for hogs there was some old sign but no pigs I hiked to the top of the hill went to the right and came down the canyon there is a creek near the bottom and it opens up. in the bottom of the draw you are close to some private land but it is well marked.
