[Toxic Shot]

So my dad bought a western rivers apache. It has at least 300 sounds and I'm not really impressed with any of them. My primary beef is short sound loops, but also lack of wanted sounds, for instance, more bush rabbit, blacktail fawn, ki-yi, less goose, turkey, elephant, and jaguar. I like to sounds on the fox pro website, and I wanted to know if fox pro sounds are compatible with my WR game call. If fox pro sounds are not an option what can I do to improve the sounds on my call?I KNOW WE SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A FOX PRO!!!!! All responses suggesting that we just "go buy a fox pro" are no help to me. Thanks for all the help and I look forward to cracking into some of the wisdom here on the CPC. Toxic Shot

I'M Ok, then... Can't you go to another website like Varmint Al's & load his sounds? If it ends up costing $$$ to fix this, then another option IS to sell it & buy a Foxpro. No need throwing good $$ after bad in other words."ELEPHANT" Sounds ??? COOL !! ~

Have some faith guys I'm back. I thought i'd get a notification when someone replied to my post, so until i checked today i didn't think anyone had replied yet. I'll check more often from now on, i don't want to upset you guys that are willing to help out.We've had 5-6 foxes 2-3 coyotes 3-4 bobcats and one lion come to the call in the last 6 months (haven't killed them all, but that's another story). So, we've had some success. The problem is that our ranch is overrun with predators and I think we just cleaned out all of the stupid ones. What sounds of varmint Al's would you recommend?By the way, I unload all of my own shells. Toxic

Unloading them is the easy part, my nephews can unload a couple thousand rounds an hour. The real trick is sitting them down and getting them to reload them back up .

What sounds of varmint Al's would you recommend?

Everywhere and every dog is different. If you are unsure what works best in your area, he also has a 16 minute and a 20 minute preset sequence that has quite a variety of different sounds. One of them is bound to hit that magic tone they want to hear.

They tend to like the higher pitches. For instance fox pros "scrub hare" sounds perfect, I also really like their black tail sounds. I'll try Al's. The unload my own shells was ment to be a joke. It's funny because it's the opposite of what everyone else says. Like the saying, "does a tree frog crap in the woods?". Toxic shot
