Went out this after noon for some jacks. The cottontails new they was not in season they was all over the place.Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImageThe jacks did not want to play. You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Nice getting it done with stick and string. I would imagine that you really enjoy yourself out there. I know when I used to bow hunt I love my time out there hunting by my self.

Yeah, but it's a couple hundred miles from you. We also saw as many or more cottontails as we did jacks this last week. But that's a good thing, especially in about two months :crazy: .

Its goin to be a good cottontail year.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Nice shooting! I'm still looking for my Jack Rabbit spot. I'm hoping for a good cottontail season too. :) About two and a half months here and then it is rabbit time! :sport037fn4:

I would have to agree on that one. The last two years I've seen as many or more cottontail as jacks. Been a long time since I remember that happening :sport037fn4:
