I just picked this up from the smith for a friend. The rifle is built around the old Browning A-Bolt with 6 lugs ala mini MK V. We're waiting for the Picatinny Base from Optics Planet so that I can mount the Nightforce 5.5X22X56 MLR. I loaded 30 rounds of Berger 130 grain VLD Match and 40 grain of H4350.Spec:Browning A-BoltHart #7 8 Twist 4 flutesWeatherby style Muzzle BrakeMcMillan A-5Cerakote Finish

That is a great looking rifle!I got some of the Berger 130 gr VLD Hunting bullets for my 1-8" twist 260 Rem, they look like rockets!

Went to the range Saturday to check the rifle performance. The wind was gusting between 12 to 15 miles an hour, buffeting my target stand. I loaded 30 rounds of 130 grain Berger VLD Match, 40 grains of H-4350, Lapua Brass and Remington 7.5 Match small rifle primer. The rifle shoots really good in spite of the wind. It's hard when you're trying to timed the movement of the target stand before pulling the trigger.Here's the 10 shot group @110 yards. Average velocity was 2850 ft/sec with no pressure sign whatsoever. I can easily push this bullet another 100 ft/sec more.
