I just bought this Remington (Baikal) double rifle in 45.70. I'm thinking of loading it with 300 grain lead free bullets and using it as a short range hog gun. Posted Image

Very pretty rifle. Dang, you won't even have to worry aobut butcherng a pig if you hit it with that thing. It will be all done for you. :crazy:

Man that is one pretty rifle, and one great caliber. We have a Marlin 1895 Cowboy (26" octagon barrrel) in the family that became an instant favorite with everyone. I absolutely love calibers that can be loaded from one extreme to the other like that too. Hope you enjoy yours just as much as we do.
