I got the bug again today, I went on Cabela's site and ordered a rcbs stand for my powder measure, another set of bullet holders, so I don't have to swap them from my primer tool to my press. I also ordered a new Nosler reloading book. Why is Cabela's to me like crack is to a crack attic. Is there a Cabela's rehab? I may want to check on a Midway usa rehab also.Tom

Being a recovering Cabela's addict, I completely understand. I think my wife has taken all my nice hard covered catalogs, and somehow removed Cabela's site from my pc. Fortunately I still have their phone #. What? Oh, that empty box by the back door? That's an old one, honey!

Thats because its too hard to not buy what you " need " . Not that you want it . Then there are the times when you see a " blow out " sale of what you use . Thats "stock up time " . Thats why i have 1k + of bullets for my 41 mag & have maybe 200 pieces of brass . The bullets were too cheap too pass on . I still have only 1/2# of powder for it . I did the same thing on .223 brass . I bought 1k , min , for the 2 guns that I need .223 brass for . And they are not even .223 . I lose some while forming , in the field , someone at the range picks up my brass ( they are .20 & 6mm with red & black colored rims ) but they still want them . . Do you have any other hobbies ? Do you gamble , drink a lot , ??? If not , your money is well spent , keeping you at home . Away from other " troubles " . Thats what i say . And I live down the street from Santa Anita and several casinos . And don't get me started on fishing . She will kick my BUTT . Andy

The stand for the powder measure is really a necessity. Having multiple reloading manuals is a mandatory safety precaution - just like perusing them all all the time to make sure their aren't typos and the loads are safe. I keep Nosler, Hornady, Speer and Sierra all handy to cross check and be super safe. Although may have to get teh Lyman or a different one, just for safety sakes. How can you argue against safety?

Luckily, my wife loves Cabela's as much as I do. Every October, our church has a marriage retreat Fri/Sat/Sun in Truckee. We go up on Thursday to Cabelas and spend Thursday afternoon and evening, then go back Friday morning before the retreat starts and do virtually all our Christmas shopping. The first time I talked her into going the day before the retreat, she rolled her eyes. But she ended up finding so much stuff she loved, it's no problem now. She's all in.

Absolutely on this. Craig's list too, that's where I picked up both near new shotgun presses for less than$100 for the pair.

Been a bit hit or miss on EBay - got a set of redding 32 H&R dies that were still in shipping oil. Got a set of .308WIN dies that were strategically photogged to hide the heavy plier marks...
