Truer words were never spoken, DR... How folks can have that (ignorant) mentallity is beyond belief. And that line of thinking is W I D E spread too, and is a BIG part of the problem. I'm not sure if any amount of education (as I stated above) would change these type of people's (twisted) minds.Well I got my big bear and do not know anyone with hounds anymore so this does not effect me. So I do not care. Kind of like the 50bmg ban when other shooters did not care and would say you do not NEED a rifle that big. Any of you remember that?? I can be like so many other gun /archery people in this state/country and only care about my little part of the picture and not the total picture. WE are so fragmented that I see this happening.
For those that do not figure this out it is sarcasism

Right, the text of the bill is now posted; you can see the tentacles at work:http://www.leginfo.c...ed_sen_v98.htmlChris LewisHound hunters are a small group. This is just a step towards taking your duck, or deer, or coyote hunting next.

While the potential passing of a bill like this is potential BS to us hunters, it would still be a LAW. Enforceable and punishable. If you chose to continue hunting with your hounds and you knew it was illegal, then you're just like every other poacher out there. I sure hope you don't take this approach toward other BS CURRENT regulations. The bill gets passed, still hunting with my hounds. It's been done since the beginning of mankind and wolves and it will continue to be so. Its a right, not a privelege

Not quite sure how to take this. Care to clarify? For now, I'll take the high road, and assume you weren't suggesting that I was a "lib" with my "head up my ass."Thats why I'd have no problem moving out of this state, who's ran by a bunch of lib's with their heads up their ass's
