It seems like there are no hunters in the central valley. I'm starting to give up on this site.

But we have members from the Oregon boarder to San Diego too. It could be you've only posted seven times so no one knows you.

:P I see they didn't replace your Smart ARSE while they were at it.

No they sure didn't! But seriously he says he's starting to give up on the site and I think he needs to put some effort out first. Everybody wants to get an idea about someone before they open up much. Except me of course, because I'm just special! ;)

You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Bret With all due respect, I went back and looked at all your posts and alot of them have been responded to without any acknowledgement from you. Guys here are plenty willing to help point a new/inexperienced hunter in the right direction but it goes both ways. Don't know what you are looking for but I've found that these forums are a give and take deal. The more you give and participate the more you learn. I've made some good friends from this forum and enjoy sharing stories of our mutual passion in hunting/shooting. I'd recommend spending some time going back and reading the archives alittle and then joining in. JMHO

You never provided your location in your id window. I glanced at that first. Shooter is right. Post and converse with us and don't keep your general location a secret, and people will feel more comfortable. Just a thoughtdb

I looked him up and he's in the Fresno area. So a bit South in the valley but we have members everywhere. We're not trying to be hard on you. We'd just like to get to know you better.

I think it may be a bit discouraging for someone new like him... Some people just don't want to take the time to get to know people.. Hey, I'm still new, but I have a pretty good feeling about you guys, and have learned a TON since joining... Different strokes for different folks, I guess...

We have a very good group and I never delete people without a good reason. I don't want to be to hard on anyone that's new to this sport there are too many other sites that do that already. But you do get out of it what you put into it. I wished I'd had the Internet when I started hunting in the 60's. But it's something I'd never give up as there is something different in feeling you get outwitting an animal that is more stealthy than yourself.

Maybe your attitude is why nobody wants to talk about hunting with you. If all you're going to do is stir the pot, do it somewhere else.
