Pheasant hunting Hastings Island

Airman and myself had an opportunity to use his membership to get some hunting in. On two seperate occasions we were able to get birds. The last hunting which was last Thursday it was so windy (40 mph+) that soon as his dogs got the birds up you probably has one shot to get them then they were gone like a bullet!!! The photo of the pheasant cooked is my broil job of it covered with bacon to keep the bird moist, next time I'll just bypass the legs, just a little to tuff for me lol.
