First four stands nothing . Ate lunch and played with the fuzzies for a while. At about three o clock made a stand just off a dirt road between two apricot orchards. Did the dying rabbit stuff and about the five minute mark seen some movement. There it was coming in ,then I can not see it any more. Gave a few more bleats and it pops out at about 40 yards and is running in. Blows past the decoy like it never seen it. Gets to five yards and stops as it turns to look at the decoy. Its now just about fifteen feet in front of me but looking strait away. Turns to my left and starts walking off. The arrows off and disapears into the coyote. It rolls on its back gets up and spins and hits the after burnners as it passes to my side . Look back at it as it leaves this orchard, crosses the dirt road gets in the other orchard about ten yards stumbles and goes down. That coyote looked like one of Uma Thurmans victoms in Kill Bill As it crossed the road. Leaking from both sides.Decoy to my brush pile blind.Posted ImagePosted ImageBlind to decoy.Posted ImageThe way I found her. You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Always amazed at what an arrow can do, looks like a Barnes Triple-Shock. Nice work.

Sure, anybody can take one with a weapon like a bow, but can you do it with just your Swiss Army knife :) Excellent job, as usual. You sure do a great job of proving how skill and patience is the most important part. And also that how you hunt is more important than what you hunt with :)

Way to go TD. Gotta love those long bows and recurves where you can make extremely quick snap shots instinctively. That's awesome and there's nothing like being up close and personal! :smiley-innocent-halo-yellow:

I will be there at about 5:00 pm Can't teach ya if your not there. :) . Hey Peeker You and shoot it are way too noisy and move way to much. :653: And its hard to get them in after you killed it at 200 yards out.
