Myself and a couple of buddies were plinking with rimfires and decided to sight in a 308 tactical that one of them has owned for several years. He's only put 1 round through it. Which one of you guys does that sound like... Anyway I decide to take a shot at a stump about 375 yds. Get the elevation dialed in and before I can fire my shot they yell movement down range. Then someone says coyote. Being as I have yet to shoot one I'm a bit excited, then they correct and say BOBCAT. Were all excited. So instead of rangeing the damn thing and taking my time, I quickly aquire and fire, while he was walking. About 4-6" low. After ranging the tree he was at was 460 yds. I guess that's bobcat fever!! But the good news is that he roams around midday even with gunfire. Pretty used to us I guess.Anyone interested in a little plinking and FoxPro testing in Cool?? Scott

Sorry it was too easy!! I can hardly read a post in equipment where you don't get dinged for that one  . Were all just jealous. I wish I had so many that I had trouble getting to shoot them all. Don't worry about just having bobcats, there are plenty of coyotes around also. Don't know how well they will respond since they have a never ending supply of cats that they eat. Both feral and domestic. Hardly a night goes by where we don't hear some distress and howling. We'll see. Scott
