My friend Kevin and I went out to Lake Amador and caught our limit of Cutbow Trout, and one Crappie. It was a great time out on the water, and those Cbows put on a great fight!Attached File  6.jpg   20.1K   9 downloads

That is a good looking trout. Weather also looks great in the pic, which always makes a good day of fishing all the more enjoyable. :lol: :lol:

hopefully, i'll get to try for aome of those this ummer. My BIL just bought a place on he lake with his own dock and boat. Looking forward to giving it a try Beautiful fish!

Good job on the trout, were you trolling if so how deep and what did you use for bait?I have some nice fish from Lake Amador from both the shore line and trolling boat with worms and stick baits.Smoked trout sounds really good too.

Thanks! We were only about 3 inches from the surface and trolling white grubs with a power egg! It was slow at first then started to pick up in the afternoon. Not bad for my first Lake Amador trip I must say. Also, we were using a few GVF lures, not sure what kind though. My friend calls them porno flies and comanchee somethings lol.
